Newsvik is a news aggregation platform that brings together news and updates from multiple sources across India. We built it because we wanted one place where readers could follow news in their preferred language — Hindi, English, or regional — without switching between different apps and websites all day.
Most of what you see on Newsvik comes from RSS feeds published by established news channels and publishers. We organise these by language and topic so you can quickly get to the stories that matter to you — whether it's politics, business, sports, or local news.
We also publish our own editorial pieces on topics worth writing about. These are clearly presented as Newsvik articles and reflect our own research and point of view.
Why We Built This
The Indian news landscape is huge — dozens of languages, hundreds of sources, and an overwhelming amount of content every day. The problem is not a shortage of news, it is finding reliable content in your language without spending twenty minutes just opening tabs. Newsvik is our attempt to fix that.
What We Are Not
We are not a news agency. We do not do original breaking-news reporting. Most content on this platform is sourced from third-party publishers who do the primary journalism. Our job is to organise it, surface it, and point you to the source.
The Team
Newsvik is run by a small, independent team based in India. There is no large organisation or media house behind this — just people who care about accessible news and built something to make it happen.
